Job summary

Balance Health, a premier podiatry-focused physician practice, seeks a Podiatrist in Santa Rosa, CA. Under the Chief Medical Officer, you will diagnose and treat foot/ankle conditions, manage wounds, prescribe therapies, and educate patients and teams.

You must hold a California podiatry license and have a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine. This full-time role includes a base salary of $150,000–$175,000 with a compensation plan and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Current active license as a Podiatrist in California.
• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program.
• Minimum of three years applicable professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Examines patients' legs and feet to determine and diagnose diseases and/or care needs.
• Treats bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
• Performs wound care management.
• Diagnoses diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using histories, exams, X-rays, and labs.
• Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Advises patients about treatment plans and foot and ankle care techniques.
• Provides education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team members.
• Provides patients with health promotions and preventive medication.
• Maintains medical records for assigned patients.
