Job summary

Balance Health is seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our team in San Rafael, California. Under the Chief Medical Officer, you will provide routine podiatric care and referrals, examining legs and feet, diagnosing diseases, and treating conditions affecting the feet and ankles.

You will manage wound care, prescribe medications or therapies, and educate patients and families. A California license and a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine are required, with at least three years of relevant

Qualifications

• Active California podiatrist license.
• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program.
• Minimum of three (3) years applicable professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Examines patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treats bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
• Performs wound care management.
• Diagnoses foot and ankle diseases using histories, exams, X-rays, and labs.
• Prescribes medications, devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Advises patients on treatment plans and foot/ankle care techniques.
