Job summary

Balance Health is hiring a Podiatrist to join our Vallejo, California team. You will examine and treat foot and ankle conditions, order and interpret tests, and develop treatment plans under the Chief Medical Officer's direction.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and collaboration with podiatrists, orthopedists, and physical therapists to deliver comprehensive care. Attractive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active California podiatrist license
• Completion of an accredited podiatric residency
• Minimum of three years of applicable professional experience

Responsibilities

• Examines legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treats bone, muscle, and joint disorders of the feet and ankles.
• Performs wound care management.
• Diagnoses conditions using medical histories, physical exams, x-rays, and lab results.
• Prescribes medications, devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Advises patients on treatment plans and preventive foot care.
• Provides education to patients, families, and health care team members.
• Maintains medical records for assigned patients.
