Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our Rock Rapids, IA team on a part‑time (1099) basis. You will provide podiatric care in long‑term and senior care facilities, perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions, and educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.

In this role you will document encounters in NextGen EMR on a company‑issued iPad, collaborate with facility staff, and participate in Medicare quality programs

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and be eligible for state licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree (required)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in long‑term care/nursing home settings (preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs. as needed

Compensation

Providers are compensated based on a percentage of the revenue they generate through billing and collections. Based on 50 working weeks per year, estimated annual earnings range from $20,000–$70,000 per day per week worked (e.g., 1 day/week = $20,000–$70,000 annually; up to 5 days/week = $100,000–$350,000 annually). Actual earnings vary based on caseload, patient volume, services rendered, and billing and collection performance. A comprehensive overview of our compensation structure will be provided during the interview process.
