Job summary

Upperline Health seeks a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in Mobile, Alabama. The candidate must hold an active DPM license or be able to obtain one within the stated timeframe and demonstrate strong communication with patients and the care team.

The DPM will assess patients, order appropriate tests, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with appropriate certification and licensure.
• Active DPM license or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• CPR certification per state requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assess lower extremity complaints, review medical history, and perform examinations.
• Order imaging or labs and develop a clinical plan of care.
• Provide comprehensive podiatric care including wound and surgical management when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on foot care, prevention, and treatment options.
• Maintain medical records per state regulations and company standards.
• Engage in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
