Job summary

BRG seeks an Associate Director / Senior Managing Consultant Pod Lead in Financial Services Operations & Technology to drive delivery across multiple major US cities including New York, Chicago, Washington, Dallas and Boston. This senior role blends client outcomes, governance, and hands-on leadership to shape engagements from scope through adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of prior applicable work experience for Associate Director or 7+ years for Senior Managing Consultant.
• Experience owning consulting engagements, scoping, and managing client expectations and economics.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through implementation with clear ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own client pursuits, proposals, scope, pricing, and delivery plans; translate business problems into clear outcomes, success measures, and realistic implementation commitments.
• Lead discovery and solution shaping with client stakeholders, analysts, and technical leads; connect priorities to practical technology and AI-enabled improvements.
• Assemble and mobilize the pod around funded engagement needs; define roles and secure talent and resources.
• Own backlog priorities with the client and team; balance business value, feasibility, dependencies, risk, and delivery capacity; lead planning and demos.
• Manage delivery across discovery, requirements, build, testing, and release; ensure alignment of business analysis and technical execution.
• Track scope, milestones, staffing, budget, and engagement economics; manage changes and impediments.
• Build trusted senior client relationships and lead engagement governance; communicate progress and decisions clearly.
• Ensure QA, controls, and risk/compliance input including AI oversight where needed.
• Lead business readiness, adoption, training, and handover; validate results against success measures.
• Oversee concurrent engagements; identify opportunities to expand client relationships and practice growth.
