Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc. in Bothell, WA seeks a Clinical Validation Engineer (Sonographer) to identify, document, design, develop, and test point-of-care ultrasound systems and features.

You will guide requirement development, clinical workflows, and validation across R&D, ensuring products are clinically diagnostic and safe for end-users. The role requires 4–6 years of medical ultrasound imaging experience, active RDCS/CCI/RDMS credentials, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Clinical input throughout R&D to ensure diagnostic safety and user needs.
• Experience with clinical testing, evaluation, and validation processes.
• Knowledge of POCUS workflows and ultrasound technology.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work in a hybrid in-office setting.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to ensure clinically diagnostic, safe systems.
• Plan and execute clinical testing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Contribute to research on ultrasound workflows and feature validation.
• Advocate for customer needs focusing on reliability, durability, ease of use, and education.
• Partner with Ultrasound Engineering to refine state-of-the-art POCUS technology.
• Capture clinical needs for end-users and review new features and transducers.
