FUJIFILM Sonosite seeks a Clinical Validation Engineer (Sonographer) to guide clinical input across R&D for point-of-care ultrasound systems. You will help ensure systems are clinically diagnostic, safe, and meet user needs while supporting diverse studies and workflow definitions.

You'll join a cross-functional team in Bothell, WA, traveling up to 20% and contributing to development efforts across POCUS applications with a focus on usability and education.

Qualifikationen

• RDCS and/or CCI (RCS) and/or RDMS required.
• TEE experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in medical ultrasound imaging.
• Previous medical device industry experience preferred.
• Previous point-of-care ultrasound development preferred.
• Previous experience with POCUS clinical applications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation required.
• Good Clinical Practice Certification within 2 months of hire.
• Strong desire to expand knowledge of ultrasound technology workflows and medical device development processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure systems are clinically diagnostic, safe, and meet user needs.
• Plan, execute, analyze, report, and present clinical testing including engineering clinical evaluations and validation.
• Participate in research to maintain knowledge of technology, trends, clinical practices, and workflows related to POCUS.
• Advocate for customer needs with emphasis on Reliability, Durability, Ease of Use, and Education.
• Refine and design state-of-the-art ultrasound technologies in POCUS field.
• Optimize systems in collaboration with Ultrasound Engineering.
• Research and capture clinical needs for POCUS users.
• Conduct and monitor research studies and protocols for evaluating features and workflows.
• Provide clinical input to cross-functional teams to align requirements with workflows.
• Participate as clinical quorum member in risk assessments and quality reviews.
• Develop knowledge of product development processes.
• Scan and review new features, systems, and transducers.
