Job summary

Sherwood Bedding Group in Orlando is seeking a highly skilled Pocket Coil Master Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize high-speed pocket coil production equipment and related assembly systems. The candidate will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls issues and restore production with minimal downtime.

Direct Lian Rou experience preferred; however, candidates with advanced experience maintaining comparable automated machinery will be considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated production equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and controls.
• Experience with automated packaging/mattress manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on pocket coil production equipment and assembly systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime with efficient repairs.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot servo-driven systems, motors, sensors, conveyors, HMIs, and PLC-related faults.
• Document repairs and parts used, and support operators and maintenance team.
