Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Clinical Pathology is responsible for the laboratory testing of blood, urine, and body fluids for disease diagnosis and health maintenance. The division uses automated equipment across more than 40 sites to support hospitals, the Montefiore Medical Group, faculty practices, and physician offices.

The Supervisor will oversee Point of Care testing, directing the POC program to ensure regulatory compliance, device selection, and testing quality across

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Medical Lab Technologist training required.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
• 4 years bench experience (or 2 years with Master's) to qualify as supervisor.
• Familiarity with Point of Care Testing instrumentation.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Troubleshooting devices and root cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Set up documentation for POC testing per NCCLS guidelines.
• Establish criteria for licensing and performance testing of staff.
• Track personnel and site involved in training and certification.
• Travel to sites for training and review of POC records.
