Job summary

Acara Solutions in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a POC Buyer on a 12-month contract to support stakeholders and manage supplier activities. The role emphasizes proactive task handling, compliant procurement operations, and cross-functional collaboration across regions.

You will build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, prioritize daily workflow, and oversee vendor communications, RFQs, and PO rework in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, purchasing, or supplier management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders by responding proactively to requests and managing tasks through to completion.
  • Prioritize, plan, monitor, and report on daily workflow, ensuring procurement activities progress efficiently.
  • Manage supplier-related activities, including negotiations, communications, declarations, RFQs, and invoice resolution.
  • Support key procurement processes, including Vendor Master Management, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Purchase Order rework.
  • Monitor and manage the task request inbox while ensuring all activities comply with established procurement processes and procedures.

Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
