Job summary

Pediatrica Health Group in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our outpatient pediatrics team. You will provide high-quality, family-centered care in a physician-led environment.

This role offers daytime hours, an outpatient practice setting, competitive salary based on experience, and a generous bonus program. Strong EHR skills and Florida ARNP licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Florida ARNP license or ability to obtain.
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification required.
• FNPs with pediatric experience may be considered.
• At least 1 year of pediatric clinical experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong EHR and computer skills.
• Outpatient pediatric clinic and daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric evaluations, including medical history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on health, prevention, and treatment plans.
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
