Job summary

Pediatrica is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient pediatric team in Fort Worth, Texas. This physician-led, patient-centered role focuses on high-quality care for children, with daytime hours and a collaborative culture.

The successful candidate will perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations, diagnose pediatric conditions, and develop treatment plans while coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric clinical experience
• PNP certification required
• Active Texas ARNP license
• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong EHR and computer skills
• Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
• Daytime hours
• Family-centered care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric evaluations, including medical history and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on health, prevention, and treatment plans
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
