Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a Pneumatics Technician to join our aerospace service team. The role focuses on repair, testing and inspection of pneumatic aircraft components in a hands-on, FAA-compliant environment.

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic system malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
  • Perform leak, pressure, and functional testing to verify airworthiness.
  • Read OEM manuals and engineering drawings; replace non-conforming parts as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and document repairs accurately.

This position offers a dynamic, hands-on environment where your mechanical skills will directly contribute to the performance and safety of commercial aircraft systems. As a Pneumatics Technician you will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure all components meet quality and airworthiness standards before being released back into service. You will work closely with engineers, quality control inspectors, and other technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities


  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test pneumatic aircraft components including valves, actuators, regulators, and pumps

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic system and component malfunctions using manuals and schematics

  • Perform leak, pressure, and functional testing to verify performance and airworthiness

  • Read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions

  • Replace worn, damaged, or non-conforming parts in accordance with approved repair procedures

  • Utilize precision measuring tools and pressure gauges to verify compliance with specifications

  • Complete detailed repair, inspection, and testing documentation

  • Identify and report non-conforming materials, components or processes

  • Maintain work areas clean, organized, and in serviceable condition

  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and company procedures
