Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a medical office manager in a multi-provider practice or multiple locations.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare management experience with direct reports, OR 2 years of college coursework with 7 years of healthcare management experience with direct reports.
• OR in lieu of the minimal experience a Master's in Healthcare Administration/related masters focused on healthcare leadership.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Practice Administrator for the Physician Network Practice provides advanced comprehensive management for physician practices. The administrator has authority, accountability, and responsibility for all business operations, including budget oversight/financial performance, personnel management, and office functions. The administrator collaborates closely with physicians and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality clinical operations, exceptional patient experiences, and efficient business performance aligned with Cook Children's standards and policies.

Experience

• Five years of experience as a medical office manager in a multi-provider practice or multiple locations or relevant healthcare setting

Education

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare management experience with direct reports
