Job summary

QuantumScape Battery, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced PMTS Process Engineer to own critical manufacturing processes on the Gen 1 battery line. You will lead process control, optimization, and troubleshooting across FSD and Development lines, driving stability and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong SPC/DOE expertise, hands-on experience, and cross-functional leadership. On-site, five days a week, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Experience in precision process engineering in battery/semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own Gen 1 battery processes on both FSD and Development lines, maintaining control plans.
• Define, maintain, and optimize process recipes, control plans, and specifications.
• Lead process qualification and requalification activities after changes or upgrades.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Metrology, Quality, and Operations to transfer processes.
