Job description

Responsible for defining and delivering Global PMS Capabilities & Integrations across the Next Generation Property Management System ecosystem, including multiple PMS platforms.

This role partners with business stakeholders, hotel operations teams, technology teams, architects, software developers, engineers, integration partners, and PMS vendors to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for PMS capabilities, platform services, and integrations that support IHG's global hotel portfolio.

The Product Manager must operate effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels, identifying opportunities to standardize, scale, and optimize global PMS capabilities while enabling seamless integrations across the hospitality technology landscape. The role requires balancing long-term platform strategy with near-term business priorities to deliver measurable value to hotels, guests, owners, and corporate stakeholders.

This includes governing capability standards, driving platform scalability and reusability, identifying opportunities for platform convergence and standardization, managing integration dependencies, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and supportability requirements.

Additionally, this role drives alignment across cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, influences vendor product roadmaps, supports business case development and product performance reviews, communicates product strategy and outcomes at all levels of the organization, and ensures PMS platforms and the broader integration ecosystem continue to evolve in support of IHG's strategic objectives and future growth.

  • Influence and drive PMS vendor roadmaps and integration partner development pipelines, advocating for IHG priorities and ensuring alignment to strategic capability needs, technical standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization of PMS capabilities and integrations, ensuring successful delivery of prioritized roadmap initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a holistic view of the PMS ecosystem, identifying capability gaps, integration dependencies, technical risks, and opportunities to standardize functionality across platforms and regions.
  • Define and document business requirements, product specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and technical user stories required to support capability and integration delivery.
  • Source and analyze operational, customer, hotel, and product performance data to drive decision‑making, validate business outcomes, and prioritize future investments.
  • Develop business cases, forecast value realization, and measure product performance through defined KPIs, leveraging insights to drive adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor industry trends, hospitality technology advancements, competitive offerings, and emerging integration opportunities to ensure PMS capabilities remain modern, scalable, and best‑in‑class.
