Job summary

Inflow is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead and manage a team on DoD-related projects in Alexandria, VA. You will ensure projects meet goals, stay within funding, and deliver high-quality publications for government customers.

The role requires PMI/PMBOK knowledge, PMP certification, and an active Secret clearance, with potential for Top Secret. Onsite work five days a week in Alexandria, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project management
• BA or BS degree OR 8 years’ experience in project management in lieu of a degree
• PMI PMP certification
• Knowledgeable in PMI Standards
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent grammar and editing skills
• Active Secret clearance, with ability to pursue a Top Secret as needed

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates project activities to ensure milestones are accomplished on time, within funding parameters, and in line with client objectives.
• Conducts analytical studies and reports project metrics including earned value, cost-benefit analysis, performance charts, and risk assessments.
• Completes project documents and plans in MS Project Server (proposals, charters, scheduling plans, QC plans, comms plans, closing documents).
• Develops and maintains stakeholder communication and escalates issues to management.
• Work with Desktop Publishers and Public Affairs Specialists to ensure quality products.
• Provide status updates on deliverables and timelines; manage projects from concept through completion for reports.
• Create and maintain templates in Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign; handle confidential information.
