BB Americas is seeking a PMO, Strategy & Performance Officer to work directly with the SVP of Marketing & Digital Transformation to help establish and operate the Strategy & Performance Office for BB Americas’ 2027–2031 strategic cycle. The PMO turns the approved Strategy Book and its Execution Guidelines into clear plans, accountable owners, practical follow-up and measurable results. The role coordinates across teams, keeps priorities visible, helps resolve obstacles and supports decisions with reliable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the Strategy & Performance Office from the ground up with the SVP: simple templates, an initiative register, ownership map, dashboards, meeting routines and follow-up processes.
- Translate the approved strategy and execution guidelines into an actionable roadmap with named owners, milestones, dependencies, measures and decisions needed.
- Maintain one reliable view of strategic initiatives across Finance, Clients, People & Culture, Technology & Products, CRA and the cross-cutting BB Ecosystem dimension.
- Organize the monthly executive execution review: collect updates, track strategic Key Results/OKRs, prepare concise decision materials, record commitments and follow through on actions.
- Work directly with initiative owners to confirm progress, challenge unclear status updates, identify delays early and elevate unresolved obstacles and material risks to the SVP.
- Help prioritize and sequence initiatives based on strategic value, urgency, capacity, dependencies, expected benefits and regulatory constraints; recommend adjustments when evidence changes.
- Coordinate the execution-unlock agenda, especially technology dependencies, process simplification, automation, data capabilities and decisions that hold up delivery.
- Support the development and ongoing review of the strategic Business Plan and investment priorities, working with Finance and relevant owners to connect resources, milestones and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, IT, Operations, HR and business teams to keep execution aligned with Bank policies, risk appetite, security, privacy and required approvals.
- Help track initiatives for revenue diversification, client journeys, culture and talent, and BB S.A./BB Securities integration, without assuming ownership of those functions.
- Support strategy communication: help teams understand priorities, their responsibilities, what has changed and what must happen next.
- Bring practical innovation to execution: ask good questions, test assumptions, facilitate small experiments or prototypes where approved, gather feedback and scale what works.
- Keep decisions, action items, approvals, evidence and project records organized and audit-ready; improve the Office’s processes as experience grows.
Qualifications
- Experience in project coordination, PMO, strategy execution, business operations, and preferred process improvement or digital transformation.
- Banking or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.
- Strong organization, follow-through and ownership; comfortable starting with a blank page and building simple working processes.
- Clear writing, concise executive reporting, sound judgment and the confidence to ask for commitments and follow up.
- Ability to work with data, spreadsheets, dashboards and project tools, translating information into decisions and next steps.
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, focus, resilience, adaptability and constructive courage to question assumptions.
- Relationship-building across departments; collaborative and respectful, but persistent about delivery.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese highly preferred.
