Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PMO Project Manager to lead a complex, enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA enhancement initiative involving multiple workstreams, interconnected systems, business processes, vendors, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for project governance, integrated planning, resource coordination, budget tracking, risk and issue management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple IT project workstreams involving internal teams, vendors, and system integrators.
• Develop and maintain detailed integrated project plans covering tasks, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Establish and maintain project governance, including roles, responsibilities, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.
• Manage projects through the full lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Coordinate with business owners, technical teams, vendors, system integrators, project sponsors, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, issues, and resource constraints.
• Develop mitigation strategies and drive timely resolution of project issues.
• Coordinate resource capacity planning and ensure appropriate resources are available for project activities.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, approvals, signoffs, schedules, and required PMO artifacts.
• Facilitate project meetings, governance reviews, status meetings, and lessons- learned sessions.
• Provide leadership reporting on project progress, financials, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Ensure projects follow established PMO standards, methodologies, governance procedures, and documentation requirements.

SAP Environment

Experience working with complex enterprise SAP environments is highly desirable, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).

Experience coordinating SAP integrations with external enterprise systems is also preferred.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project/project management experience across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience managing SAP/ERP or Enterprise Business Solutions projects.
• Experience managing multi-year projects.
• Experience managing high-profile vendors and system integrators across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of project scope, schedule, communication, vendor, risk, resource, and cost management.
• PMP certification.
• Expert-level experience creating and maintaining integrated project plans using Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Online.
• Strong leadership, conflict management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA enhancement or transformation projects.
• Experience with SAP cloud platforms and enterprise integrations.
• Experience working with formal PMO governance frameworks.
• Experience with resource forecasting and capacity planning.
• Experience coordinating multiple system integrators or technology vendors.

Remote Position

• Remote/virtual position with onsite attendance required one week per month, as scheduled.
• Additional onsite attendance may be required for meetings, work sessions, planned implementations, or system issues.
• Onsite work will be performed in Middletown, PA.
