The Design & Construction (D&C) PMO (Project Management Office) isactively seeking a PMO Project Controls to join our team. Thisposition requires a results-driven, self-initiator and detail-oriented individual who willbe responsible forthe establishment and leadership of the Project Management Office fora medium-scale, multi-year construction project. Thisisa critical leadership rolefocused on driving project control, consistency, and successful delivery. Project Controls will assist withdeveloping, implementing, and maintainPMO processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to ensure projects aredelivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This rolerequires a deepunderstanding of construction project management methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the abilityto effectively communicate with diversestakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO Establishment & Governance:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PMO Project Controls framework, includingmethodologies, standards,templates, and tools tailored to the specific constructionproject.
- Establishand maintainproject governance structures, includingsteering committees, project boards, and change controlprocesses.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards and methodologies across allprojectteams.
- Define and track keyperformance indicators(KPIs)to measure project and PMOperformance.
Project Performance Management:
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, riskmanagement, and qualitycontrol processes.
- Monitor project performance against baselines and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify and escal project issues and risks, and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Facilitateproject stage gates and audits to ensure compliance with PMO standards and project requirements.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibilityinto project status, risks, andissues.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas forimprovement.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports on project performance. Utilizeearned value management (EVM)principles.
Resource Management:
- Collaborate with resource managers to ensure projects areadequately staffedwith qualified personnel.
- Monitor resource utilizationand identify opportunities foroptimization.
Stakeholder Management:
- Buildand maintainstrong relationships with keystakeholders, includingproject sponsors, project managers, contractors, andvendors.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status, risks, andissues.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to PMO processes andmethodologies.
- Champion the use of bestpracticesinprojectmanagement.
Team Leadership:
- Develop team members with PMO strategies
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree inConstruction Management, Engineering, Business, or a relatedfield.
- 5 years of experience inproject management including experience on medium-scale construction projects(>$50M).
