Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a PMO Manager for Boerne or Houston to lead delivery of electrical transmission, distribution, substation, and EPC projects. This role focuses on standardizing processes, guiding PM teams, and ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has a strong leadership background, extensive technical project management experience, and a proven ability to mentor project managers while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including 5+ years on technical projects.
• Experience managing electrical transmission, distribution, substation, or power delivery projects.
• Onsite work three days per week in Boerne or Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve PMO frameworks, tools, and practices across divisions.
• Oversee budgets, scheduling, scope, quality, profitability, and client expectations.
• Lead project reviews, WIP meetings, and performance metrics; mentor PMs.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership; manage risks.
