Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation seeks a Project and Change Management Manager to lead the IMS PMO, supervise enterprise IT project managers and change managers, and establish consistent practices across the technology portfolio.

The role partners with IMS leadership and city departments to prioritize work, allocate resources, monitor risks, and drive governance, reporting, and organizational readiness for major technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in business process analysis and technology roadmaps.
• Ability to act as expert to executive-level managers and decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises IMS PMO staff, providing coaching and performance management.
• Oversees the PMO portfolio including intake, prioritization, and resource assignments.
• Develops and enforces project and change management standards, governance processes, and tools.
• Advises City leadership on practices, priorities, capacity, and risks.
• Ensures governance, sponsorship, and stakeholder engagement across projects.
