Job summary

Datwyler Group in the United States seeks a PMO Manager to direct CAPEX investments and NPI engineering portfolios across the Middletown, DE and Pennsauken, NJ sites. The role oversees the PMO function, 1–5 direct reports, and standardized governance for multi-service delivery.

Responsibilities include planning and directing engineering projects, defining scope with stakeholders, developing schedules, and leading risk mitigation. GMP and Quality System compliance are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and building business cases.
• Familiarity with governmental standards in the area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Direct CAPEX and NPI engineering portfolios across Datwyler Pharma Packaging’s US sites.
• Manage the PMO office and 1–5 direct reports; standardize governance and delivery.
• Plan and direct engineering projects; define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed schedules and project plans; monitor progress and resources.
• Identify and implement recovery strategies for overdue tasks and risks.
• Lead global investment projects for local teams and NPI projects for the sites.
