Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a motivated intern to join the OH PMO Team in Moraine, OH. You will support project managers on electric utility projects and contribute to schedules, budgets, and reports using industry tools.

This role provides hands-on exposure to substation and transmission projects and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. You will participate in site visits, assist with regulatory documentation, and help identify process

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning and tracking electric utility projects focusing on substation and transmission lines.
• Help prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to ensure materials and resources are ready.
• Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and safety practices.
• Support documentation for regulatory compliance and internal reporting.
