Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks an experienced PMO leader to establish and run a comprehensive PMO for our automotive semiconductor power management group.

You will drive portfolio governance, stage-gate discipline, and cross-functional alignment to deliver design, development, validation, and production programs on time and within budget. Qualifications

• 15+ years in program/portfolio management in semiconductor or automotive electronics.
• Experience leading PMOs with 10+ concurrent programs across lifecycle phases.
• Deep automotive product development and supplier management knowledge.
• Proven ability to implement stage-gate, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence without direct authority; PMP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the PMO organization with governance, processes, and playbooks.
• Manage 15–25 concurrent programs across design, development, validation and production.
• Implement portfolio governance, quarterly reviews, and resource allocation.
• Drive on-time, on-budget delivery; track risks, milestones, and dependencies.
• Embed functional safety reviews and compliance tracking within stages and milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, operations, finance, and customers.
