About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented PMO Analyst/Project Controls Analyst to support a high-impact infrastructure program at a leading public-sector agency in New York.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in data-driven environments, enjoys working with project performance metrics, and can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

You will play a key role in supporting project tracking, reporting, and analysis across multiple active capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

Track and analyze project cost and schedule performance across multiple projects

Develop and maintain project milestone datasets to support on-time delivery

Prepare monthly and annual performance reports for PMO leadership

Manage and update project data within internal systems (e.g., ICMS or similar platforms)

Compile internal PMO reports, including:

  • Budget and contract reports
  • Maintain and update:
  • Crosswalk and milestone tracking reports
  • Contract and bid data in SharePoint
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Create Excel dashboards, pivot tables, charts, and reports for decision-making
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather, verify, and analyze data

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in:
  • Project Controls
  • PMO / Project Analysis
  • Cost/Schedule Reporting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, data analysis REQUIRED)
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to Primavera P6 or project scheduling tools
  • Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools
  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, or public sector projects
  • Familiarity with project management systems (e.g., ICMS, SharePoint, or similar)
  • Someone who is highly detail-oriented and data-driven
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and reporting structures
  • Able to translate data into meaningful insights
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently
