Job summary
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division in Renton, WA, invites an intern to support PMO activities and assist in managing IT projects and programs using the PACCAR methodology. You will work with the PMO team and Director to help oversee a portfolio of high-impact projects across the division.
The role offers exposure to diverse disciplines and global collaboration within a Fortune 500 company, with developmental opportunities in project management, Scrum, and Agile practices.
Qualifications
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Mental agility and curiosity about IT program management.
- Academic understanding of project management, Scrum, and Agile.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Support PMO activities on active projects.
- Learn and apply Agile development processes with project teams.
- Assist in risk definition and mitigation with guidance from PMO.
- Contribute to PMO process improvements with PMO staff.
- Support portfolio management activities under the PMO Director.
- Define scope, resources, risk, schedule, and budget; reassess periodically.
- Develop executive presence and presentation skills through PMO meetings.
