Job summary

PACCAR ITD in Renton, WA is seeking a curious software engineering intern to design and develop features for customer-facing applications. You will work with a mentor and gain hands-on experience across the full software lifecycle.

Contribute to distributed apps in manufacturing, materials, sales and marketing while learning modern tech like AI, RESTful APIs, Docker and cloud platforms. Undergraduate or graduate CS students encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Foundational Computer Science knowledge from coursework, projects, internships or relevant experience.
Proficiency in C# / ASP.NET, Python, React and RESTful APIs.
Experience with Docker, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with MS SQL, Git/GitHub and Agile methodologies.
Experience with AI development and secure file integration.
Strong problem solving and communication skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

Work with a mentor to design and develop features for customer-facing software applications.
Gain hands-on experience in designing, implementing, testing, and shipping production-ready software.
Apply Agile development practices and collaborate with senior engineers across modules.
Contribute to distributed applications used in manufacturing, materials, sales and marketing.
Develop a personal growth plan to master critical skills for the internship.
