Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a PMIC Reference HW Design Engineer in the Engineering Group.

The role focuses on PMIC PCB floorplanning, schematic, layout, thermal solutions and BOM selection for test platforms and customer reference kits. The candidate will work with PMIC designers, CAD engineers and testing teams to optimize performance and cost across reference designs, with emphasis on high-layer count boards and power integrity analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in EE or related field with 4+ years (Master/PhD) or 5+ years (Bachelor).
• Experience with IC/PCB design tools and SPICE, MATLAB, Verilog/VHDL, C, Python.
• Ability to design PMIC reference boards and evaluate hardware performance.

Responsabilidades

• Design customer reference board and evaluation kits with PMIC designers and Test HW teams.
• Publish PMIC PCB design guidelines, schematic, BOM, and PCB layout with CAD collaboration.
• Experience with Mentor PADs Logic/PAДs Layout is desirable but not essential.
• Perform board-level simulations for Power Integrity and Signal Integrity.
• Characterize and publish performance and cost-optimized reference BOMs.
