Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a senior manager for the Project Management and Integration Subdivision within the Spent Fuel Handling Recapitalization Department. The role leads cross-site teams to develop and maintain project management systems, manage planning, budgeting, and risk processes, and coordinate with Naval Reactors and other DMOs to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; management experience or 4+ years of relevant management experience.
• Clear communication skills with senior/executive management.
• Experience with large design/construction projects and DOE/Nuclear programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining project management systems for SFHP, NEAP and IIER.
• Provide leadership across Capital Projects to integrate efforts.
• Deliver tools for work planning, performance monitoring and risk management.
• Coordinate planning and budgetary work products to Naval Reactors.
• Manage department and project communications with senior management.
