Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver care across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. This 1099 contractor role offers autonomy with physician-led support and opportunities for growth.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with supervising physicians and facility staff. Strong EMR skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active State of Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National Board Certification as PMHNP.
• DEA license required.
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.
