Spectrum Medical Partners is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Tampa Bay area.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans with supervising physicians, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with facilities and staff. Fluency in English/Spanish and a Florida APRN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National Board Certification as PMHNP.
• DEA license required.
• Post-acute care experience required.
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

PHA is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our growing team. You will provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care. This position offers autonomy, professional growth, and the support of an experienced physician-led group.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
