Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Director for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Programs at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This position offers full-time faculty responsibilities focusing on leadership, teaching, and program administration.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in nursing or related field, and at least two years of experience as a PMHNP. The role also includes engaging in curriculum development and securing clinical placements to foster student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Earned doctorate in an appropriate field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Current certification as a PMHNP required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PMHNP Academic Advisor and support students' progress.
• Lead curriculum development and instruction for the PMHNP specialty.
• Coordinate clinical placements and maintain relationships with preceptors.
• Participate in leadership teams for program opportunities.
