Job summary
Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (MnTC) seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, withdrawal support, and co-occurring disorder treatment. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care within MnTC’s treatment model.
The role includes patient education, on-call rotation, and documentation in the electronic health record to comply with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Current APRN licensure in Minnesota and NP certification.
- Board certification as PMHNP-BC as per Minnesota statute 245I.04.
Responsibilities
- Deliver psychiatric and substance use evaluations and medication management.
- Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team for integrated care.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff on psychiatric and medical conditions.
- Maintain compliant documentation in the EHR per MN statutes.
