Qualifications

• Active New York State license and registration as a PMHNP-BC.
• DEA License.
• BLS Certification.
• Strong clinical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a growth mindset.
• Experience working with pediatric patients and Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment for anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, tests, and history.
• Prescribe and manage medications, adjusting as needed.
• Identify patients who may require higher levels of care and refer appropriately.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies to improve long-term mental health.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Interest in ketamine therapy? Training available for clinicians.
