Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions in Oakland, CA is a leading outpatient psychiatry group focusing on Ketamine therapies. This role is dedicated to Ketamine treatment within the clinic, working 16-24 hours per week with a pay rate of $90-100/hr.

The clinician will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, provide brief psychotherapy, document in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of post-education experience in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Valid and current California NP and furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
• Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
• ANCC PMHNP Board Certification.
• Autonomous practice ability.
• Child, adolescent, or adult experience.
• Proficiency with EHR.
• Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
• Compassionate and motivated team player.

• Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management.
• Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions with evaluation and management services.
• Maintain timely charting in an EHR platform.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
• Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and other relevant health histories.
• Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
• Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an ElectronicHealth Records (EHR) platform.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
