Summary: Surgery scheduling and coordination are critical components of patient care. It is a complex process of coordinating patients' personal schedules and needs, surgeons' schedules, access to hospital facilities and insurance authorizations. Must have strong communication skills to coordinate with clinic, surgeon, OR, ASC and outside personnel to ensure case accuracy from creation to completion.
