Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate on the PM shift in Paramount, California. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, staging furniture for deliveries, and ensuring items are rental-ready.

Weekly pay, benefits, and a PSP bonus plan accompany a 5:30PM–2AM schedule with overtime potential. Applicants should be 18+, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation to commute to Paramount, CA.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehousing experience preferred; higher relevance rewarded.
• Forklift certification preferred; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly, 100 pounds with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes and place items correctly.
• Pull and stage furniture for next-day deliveries.
• Clean and repair furniture to ensure rental-readiness.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse; manage cardboard and trash.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy; relocate products as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with safety regulations.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
