Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Project Manager for our Client Advisory Services Group in Charlotte, NC. You will manage the full lifecycle of corporate interior projects, including tenant improvements, renovations, move management, and closeout, coordinating with leasing, design, and general contractors.

The role is 100% in-office in the client advisory unit, requiring strong team collaboration and tight budgeting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience as project manager or assistant PM in real estate, design, architectural or general contractor environments.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical knowledge of interior/exterior building components and systems.
• Ability to read floor plans and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assist transaction teams with lease language, work letters, and artifacts to acquire space for Lincoln’s client.
• Assess vacant spaces for make-ready improvements and identify construction constraints.
• Coordinate with leasing, tenants, design team, and GCs to prepare space plans, pricing, and budgets for TI projects.
• Provide initial scheduling and budgeting in project planning and update as information is obtained.
• Oversee bidding, vetting, and awarding for architects, GCs, and furniture providers.
• Develop construction documents and coordinate civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate other vendors during preconstruction/construction to meet landlord obligations.
• Assist in construction contract negotiation and monitor GC performance.
• Manage project invoicing and payments; provide status reports and value engineering review.
• Coordinate transition of completed projects between tenant and property management.
• Maintain current floor plans and CAD files for assigned projects.
• Provide document review and construction observation for tenant-driven improvements.
• Obtain complete closeout documentation upon project completion.
• Oversee decommissioning of corporate offices and moves/relocations.
