Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician in the Umatilla area of Oregon. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and maintain facilities with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and lighting tasks.

The role emphasizes documentation, adherence to safety rules, and coordinating with teams to meet maintenance targets. Minimum 3–5 years in maintenance is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 Years’ Experience In Maintenance Field Or More Preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Essential Functions

Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.

Qualifications

3-5 Years’ Experience In Maintenance Field Or More Preferred.

Physical Requirements

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
• The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
• Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Hourly $22.50
