Job summary

Valley Senior Living on Columbia is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a welcoming dining environment. This role supports our kitchen team under the direction of the Head Cook and Dining Services leadership.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a PM shift from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. Starting wages range from $21.71 to $25.91 per hour, plus a $2.00 weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Sanitation and safety compliance
• Teamwork and communication in a dining services setting
• Food handling with reference to MSDS procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menu and standards
• Maintain sanitation and safety policies in kitchen
• Serve residents according to diet requirements and preferences
• Assist with meal setup and resident transportation to dining areas
• Record meal totals and food temperatures as required
