Job summary

Radisson Blu Fargo is seeking a friendly, service-oriented server to connect the kitchen and guests, ensuring timely delivery of meals and a memorable dining experience. The role requires a positive attitude, the ability to stand for long periods, and the strength to lift heavy trays.

You will work in a full-time capacity with wage plus tips, and PM shift hours. The position offers full-time benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options, with hotel discounts and growth

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and a smile.
• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Deliver food orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Relay and/or enter order into POS system for the kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and/or bar.
• Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal has been completed.
• May assist kitchen staff by ladling soup, tossing salad, portioning desserts, brewing coffee, and performing other services as determined by needs of the restaurant.
• Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests.
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and enthusiastic manner.

Servers bridge the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that the food is out and the guests at each table are happy. Our servers are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure their tables have the best experience.
