Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a FT - PM Room Attendant for Le Meridien Washington D.C., The Madison Hotel to join our Housekeeping Team. PM shifts include weekends and holidays. This role maintains guest room cleanliness and order to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The position requires lifting, cleaning, restocking and attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a strong focus on service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Able to scrub and scour surfaces and reach over head.
• Team player and willing to assist coworkers.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and operating cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Able to adapt communication to audiences including supervisors and guests.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, floors and surfaces.
• Strip beds and change linens, handling bed coverings weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, pictures, windowsills and shelves.
• Operate vacuum and dispose of trash.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys, locate rooms, restock heavy carts and verify room cleanliness.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
