Job summary

The Madison Hotel is seeking a full-time PM Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team on-site in Washington, DC. This role cleans guest rooms, replenishes supplies, and ensures compliance with cleanliness standards, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning rooms to hotel standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for bed linens and up to 100 lbs for equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors using appropriate cleaners and methods.
• Strip beds and change linens as required.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves and ledges thoroughly.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash, replenish amenities and supplies.
• Restock heavy carts and sign for room keys; inspect room for cleanliness.
