Job summary

The UPS Store is seeking a part‑time Retail Associate for the PM shift in Austin, TX. You will assist customers, handle shipments, and operate copy/fax/printing equipment while delivering friendly service. The position offers weekend availability and a path to full‑time growth in a supportive, customer‑focused environment.

Ideal candidates have retail customer service experience, strong computer skills, and a professional appearance. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills and internet proficiency.
• Outstanding phone skills and communication skills (verbal, written, spelling, math).
• Prompt, dependable, and responsible.
• Able to safely lift 40+ pounds.
• Willing and able to work 15-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Willingness to complete Notary certification and provide notary services to customers.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
