Job summary

Westin Chicago Northwest is hiring a Part‑Time Weekend PM Food Runner to provide friendly and efficient service across the restaurant, bar, and guest rooms in Itasca, IL. Responsibilities include delivering Mobile Dining orders to guest rooms and serving guests in multiple spaces, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

You will maintain station setups, assist servers, and complete side work while staying active through the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help co‑workers.
• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• Comfortable with considerable physical activity during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mobile Dining orders to guest rooms.
• Deliver food and beverages within the restaurant and bar.
• Set up and stock service stations.
• Complete side work and clean/ reset tables during service.
• Serve water, coffee and other non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Assist servers as needed.
• Vacuum dining room and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Promptly communicate guest concerns to the server, dining room supervisor, or manager.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Part‑Time Weekend PM Food Runner, you will provide friendly and efficient service to guests throughout the restaurant, bar, and guest rooms. Your responsibilities will include delivering Mobile Dining orders to guest rooms, delivering food and beverages within the restaurant and bar, setting up and stocking service stations, completing side work, cleaning and resetting tables during service, serving water, coffee, and other non‑alcoholic beverages, assisting servers as needed, vacuuming the dining room, performing general cleaning tasks, and promptly communicating any guest concerns or issues to the server, dining room supervisor, or manager.

Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms.
