Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers in Riverside, CA. CDL required with at least 6 months manual tractor-trailer experience; hazmat is a plus. This role uses a flat-rate per-move structure with weekly earnings typically between 1,500 and 2,000.

Shifts are AM, Monday–Friday, averaging 10+ hours daily. Benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, sick pay, and paid holidays; drivers are home daily with no-touch freight.

Qualifications

• CDL required with 6+ months manual tractor-trailer experience.
• 6 months rail experience preferred.
• Chassis and container handling experience advantageous.
• No major tickets or alcohol-related issues in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A tractors for port-to-port moves.
• Deliver with a flat-rate per-move pay structure.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements on all routes.

Position

UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers. We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

Shift Details

Shifts available: AM- shift Monday - Fridays 11pm-1am start time Averaging 10+ hours daily.

Salary & Pay

Drivers are averaging 1500-2000 a week. Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months rail experience
• Must be 21 years or old
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
• Must have Chassis and container experience
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years
• No return to work program
• No DUI in last 5 years
• hazmat is a plus
