Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a qualified PM&R physician to conduct independent medical assessments for U.S. Veterans. You will review records, perform non-treating evaluations, and complete VA DBQs via a secure portal. This part-time role involves up to four assessments per day and must be completed within 24 hours of each encounter.

Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO in PM&R, with preferred board certification. Strong data synthesis and time management are essential for accurate disability determinations.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO with PM&R
• Board certification preferred; residency in relevant specialty acceptable
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail essential
• Experience reviewing medical records and completing VA DBQs

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
• Complete and submit DBQs based on VA templates to capture medical findings.
• Submit all DBQs within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily
