Job summary

MRG Exams in Pasadena, CA is seeking a licensed PM&R physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans, reviewing records and completing VA DBQs through a secure portal. This role is non-treating and focused on evaluation and documentation.

Part-time, 1 day per week, with a daily rate of $1,200–$1,400 and equipment provided. You will assess up to four veterans daily, ensuring timely, accurate submissions. Board certification in PM&R and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with a PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in PM&R or related specialties preferred; residency in relevant field also considered.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document health conditions.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs based on VA templates.
• Ensure DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
